"Arrest individuals (regardless of demographic characteristics) whose violence, vandalism, and criminal behaviors are causing harm.
Don’t arrest, ban, or negatively characterize people (regardless of demographic characteristics) who are causing no problem."
THIS 💯. Absolutely! Now THERE'S a radical, novel idea! Also know as.....wait for it....COMMON SENSE! But alas, common sense really isn't so common anymore.
And in case anyone wants to use the tired, old canard that "we can't do crowd control on teens when there are so MANY of them!", well then: 1) Police somehow manage to do just fine when it's a crowd of adults, and generally don't have a hissy-fit about it being too difficult on account of their ages, and 2) They already have a highly effective tool in their toolbox to deploy when things really DO get out of control and there are too many people to sort out in the moment who the perps are, and it's called "disorderly conduct". Designed primarily for this purpose, this catch-all provision, when deployed wisely (and not arbitrarily abused), can be used to arrest and/or detain people in the moment so they CAN sort out the real troublemakers, and thus quash *actual* "rioting and mayhem" as it is happening.
By the way, the substack offical account published an interview saying 80% of Generation Z are too scared to order a restaurant, how do you think?
Yes, I replied to Haidt's and Freya India's idiocy: https://mikemales.substack.com/p/did-you-know-generation-z-lacks-the
